The Tamil Nadu Election Results Shock has taken the political scene by surprise. Actor-turned-politician Vijay and his party Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) are leading in a large number of seats in the Tamil Nadu Election Results Shock, challenging the dominance of Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK).
According to early trends, TVK is ahead in about 109 seats and is moving toward forming the government. Meanwhile, All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) leads in around 72 seats. The ruling DMK has slipped to nearly 50 seats, placing it in third position.
Reports say several ministers from the DMK government, including Chief Minister M. K. Stalin, are trailing in their constituencies. The results have shocked party supporters.
At the DMK headquarters Anna Arivalayam in Chennai, workers removed celebration tents as trends turned negative.
DMK leader NVN Somu said Vijay’s huge fan following played a major role in the election outcome.
