Puducherry Assembly Election Results: N Rangasamy celebrates victory in Thattanchavady

The Puducherry Assembly Election Results delivered an early victory for Chief Minister N. Rangasamy, who won the Thattanchavady constituency with a comfortable margin. The Puducherry Assembly Election Results began with counting at several centres across Puducherry.

Rangasamy defeated his nearest rival Vinayagam of the Neyam Makkal Katchi. The Chief Minister contested from two constituencies and also leads in Mangalam. His victory in Thattanchavady became the first confirmed result of the election counting.

The ruling alliance led by the National Democratic Alliance is showing strong momentum in the counting process. According to the latest trends, the Bharatiya Janata Party-led alliance leads in 22 seats, while the Indian National Congress alliance leads in six seats.

The Puducherry Assembly has 30 seats, and a party needs 16 seats to form the government. With a strong lead, the NDA alliance looks set to retain power under Rangasamy’s leadership.
