The end to deputation culture in Telangana Gurukula institutions has been announced as the government takes steps to strengthen the teaching system. Officials said the decision aims to improve academic standards and ensure better support for students.
The end to deputation culture in Telangana Gurukula institutions comes after authorities noticed a shortage of teachers in many schools. Several teaching staff had been working on deputation at the head office and other departments for a long time. Orders have now been issued to cancel those deputations and send around 16 teachers back to their original schools.
The move follows directions from Social Welfare Minister Adluri Laxman Kumar, who reviewed the situation and stressed that students’ interests must come first.
Teacher unions and employee groups welcomed the decision. They believe the step will reduce vacancies, improve accountability in teaching, and help raise academic performance in Gurukula schools.
