DMK–AIADMK Alliance Buzz: Vijay Warns of Mass Resignations

DMK–AIADMK Alliance controversy as TVK chief Vijay issues strong warning

Speculation over a DMK–AIADMK Alliance has triggered a major political debate in Tamil Nadu after the recent Assembly developments. Reports suggest that the two long-time rival parties may join hands to form a government and block the rise of actor-turned-politician Vijay.

The DMK–AIADMK Alliance discussion intensified after the Assembly situation turned uncertain. Vijay’s party, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), has gained strong political momentum and is trying to expand its influence in the state. Political observers say rival parties may explore new alliances to counter this growing challenge.

Amid these rumours, TVK chief Vijay issued a stern warning during a meeting with party leaders and MLAs. He said if Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam and All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam join hands only to capture power, TVK legislators could consider resigning together.

TVK leaders argue that such a coalition would go against the people’s mandate. Political analysts believe the situation could lead to further tensions and trigger major changes in Tamil Nadu politics.
