Prime Minister Narendra Modi alleged support from those two parties for Maoists while addressing a large BJP public meeting at Parade Grounds in Hyderabad. He criticized opposition parties and said their politics focuses on family interests rather than development.
During the speech, Modi claimed there has been support from those two parties for Maoists, referring to the Congress and Left parties. He said earlier governments did not give full freedom to police to take strict action against Maoists. According to him, strong steps could have controlled the problem much earlier.
The Prime Minister also spoke about development projects. He said the central government is building industrial corridors across the country and one of them will come up in Zaheerabad. Modi added that the BJP focuses on development and job creation.
He expressed confidence that Telangana is moving towards becoming free from Maoist activity and said the country wants change and progress.
