According to reports, a Nepali couple along with their associates entered the house by gaining trust as domestic workers. They later invited others, disabled CCTV cameras, and carried out the robbery. The elderly couple, a retired professor and a doctor, were locked in a room and drugged during the crime. Gold jewellery, silver items, cash, and other valuables were taken.
Police said the gang escaped after the incident, and special teams were formed to track them. Preliminary investigation suggests the suspects may have fled toward Delhi and Nepal routes.
Authorities are continuing a detailed investigation into the case.
