The Bandi Bhagirath Case investigation has gained momentum as the Special Investigation Team (SIT) questioned several friends of the accused for more than two and a half hours on Monday. The questioning took place at the Pet Basheerabad Police Station in Hyderabad.
In the Bandi Bhagirath Case, police are also examining the role of his friends who were allegedly present during the incident. According to the victim’s mother, some of them tried to suppress the matter and attempted to reach a settlement after the incident.
Based on her complaint, the SIT called around ten of Bhagirath’s friends for questioning. Officers asked detailed questions about what happened that day and recorded their statements.
Investigators also checked the friends’ phone call records and WhatsApp chat histories for possible evidence. Officials said further action may follow depending on the information collected during the interrogation.
