Hyderabad: The Khairatabad Maha Ganapati darshan will be permitted until midnight on Thursday , after which devotees’ access will be temporarily halted, organizers announced . During the Maha Ganapati immersion on Saturday, devotees will not be able to participate in the quick or general darshan due to the removal of temporary sheds and crane operations. Organizers have requested devotees to cooperate with authorities and police during this period.
According to GHMC officials, a total of 1,04,135 Ganesh idols have been immersed across the six zones under GHMC jurisdiction until Tuesday. The immersions took place not only in the city’s large lakes but also in temporary tanks set up specifically for this purpose. The idols included both small and large sizes, catering to different communities and localities. Authorities have ensured proper arrangements to manage the crowd and facilitate smooth immersion operations , while maintaining safety protocols and minimizing inconvenience to the devotees.
