Baireddy Siddharth Reddy case registered after minister TG Bharat complaint in Kurnool

The Baireddy Siddharth Reddy case has created fresh political tension in Kurnool after police registered a case against Baireddy Siddharth Reddy, the youth wing state president of YSR Congress Party. Police confirmed that they acted on a complaint filed by state Industries Minister and Kurnool MLA TG Bharat Gupta. The Baireddy Siddharth Reddy case relates to remarks made during a protest held near the Kurnool Collectorate on May 14.

During the protest organized by the YSRCP, Siddharth Reddy strongly criticized Minister TG Bharat. He questioned the minister’s political career and age while comparing it with his own entry into electoral politics.

Siddharth Reddy also alleged that pressure from leaders of Telugu Desam Party led to the suicide of a person named Satish. He demanded justice for the victim’s family.

Minister TG Bharat said the remarks damaged his reputation and created fear among the public. Based on his complaint, Kurnool Three Town police registered the case and started an investigation.
