Andhra Pradesh: Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan welcomed the latest GST reforms announced by the government . He tweeted that the NDA government, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has fulfilled the promise made on Independence Day by implementing these key changes. According to him, the reforms will greatly benefit the poor, middle-class families, and farmers across the country.
Pawan highlighted that the removal of GST on education and life insurance will bring significant relief to millions of households, easing financial burdens and improving access to essential services. He described the reforms as a “true Diwali gift” for the nation, emphasizing the positive impact on ordinary citizens.
The actor-turned-politician also extended special thanks to Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and the GST Council for their decisive role in approving and implementing these reforms, which aim to simplify the tax structure, promote affordability, and strengthen the economic well-being of the common people.
