Mudiraj BC-A demand dominated a meeting in Hyderabad where MP Eatala Rajender supported the call to shift Mudiraj community from BC-D to BC-A. The Mudiraj BC-A demand reflects long-standing concerns over political representation and reservation benefits.
Speaking at the Mudiraj Simhavalokanam event organised by Mudiraj intellectuals in Hyderabad’s Jalavihar, Eatala Rajender said the Mudiraj community forms a major population in Telangana and plays a decisive role in 35 constituencies. He argued that political recognition has not matched their strength. He also recalled earlier efforts made during the YSR period to consider the classification change.
He urged unity among community groups and said collective pressure can help achieve the demand. He noted that caste associations must stay united and avoid political suppression. Rajender said fair representation should depend on population share and democratic justice. He called for a renewed movement to push the issue forward without delay across Telangana state going forward now.
