Security forces combing for Maoist leaders Ganapathi and Misir Besra have intensified operations in several forest regions across India. The large-scale mission aims to track down the two senior Maoist leaders and weaken the remaining Maoist network.
The joint operation covers dense forest areas and border villages in Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, West Bengal, and Maharashtra. CRPF personnel, CoBRA commandos, and state police teams are working together in the search mission.
Officials have increased surveillance in sensitive locations and set up checkpoints along interstate borders. Security teams are carrying out extensive searches to stop any possible escape routes.
Authorities believe the operation could deal a major blow to Maoist activities in the region. Security forces combing for Maoist leaders continue to monitor suspected hideouts and gather intelligence as the search enters a crucial phase.
