Duvvada Madhuri warning over Duvvada Srinivas police inquiry sparked tension at Kothuru Police Station in Andhra Pradesh on Monday. YSRCP MLC Duvvada Srinivas appeared before police in connection with a case related to his alleged remarks against AP Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan.
As the inquiry began, Duvvada Madhuri warning over Duvvada Srinivas police inquiry drew attention outside the police station. Madhuri expressed anger over the investigation and questioned why police were focusing on Srinivas. A brief commotion took place near the station, prompting police to take Madhuri and some supporters into custody.
Speaking to the media, Madhuri asked whether there were no other crimes in Srikakulam district to investigate. She warned that she would not remain silent if any harm came to Srinivas.
Madhuri also questioned the timing of the police notices and claimed that political reasons were behind the action. She said she was ready to face questioning if required and vowed to continue raising her concerns.
