State government transferred IAS officers to various departments as part of a major administrative reshuffle aimed at improving governance and strengthening key departments. The Telangana government issued fresh transfer and posting orders for several senior IAS officers on Thursday. Special Chief Secretary Sabyasachi Ghosh received additional charge of the Handlooms, Textiles and Handicrafts Department along with his existing responsibilities. Shailaja Ramaiyer moved to the Environment, Forests, Science and Technology Department while continuing to oversee the Endowments Department.
Ahmad Nadeem took charge as Principal Secretary (Political) in the General Administration Department. N. Sridhar became Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, and Rahul Bojja assumed responsibility as Principal Secretary for Disaster Management after returning from leave.
The government also reassigned several other senior officers, including P. Katyayani Devi, K. Gangadhar, T. Venkanna, K. Vidyasagar and K. Chandrakala, to new departments. Officials said the latest reshuffle is expected to improve coordination, strengthen governance and enhance administrative efficiency across Telangana.
