BRS leader Harish Rao strongly criticised the Telangana government over the Harish Rao Police Job Recruitment issue. He alleged that police acted harshly against unemployed youth who were peacefully protesting near the Police Recruitment Board. He said the government should protect job seekers instead of arresting them.
In a post on X, Harish Rao accused the Congress government of failing to fulfil its election promise of providing government jobs. He claimed unemployed candidates were being denied their rights and urged the government to respond positively to their demands.
The BRS leader demanded the immediate release of all candidates who were arrested during the protests. He also called on the government to issue a full recruitment notification for nearly 20,000 vacant police posts, saying even the Director General of Police had acknowledged these vacancies.
Harish Rao assured unemployed youth that the BRS would continue to support their fight for fair recruitment and employment opportunities.
