Uppendra Kushwaha, leader of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), has issued a strong warning to his allies ahead of the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections. He stressed that they must not repeat the mistakes made in the 2020 elections, which led to significant losses due to internal strife.
In preparation for the 2025 polls, all parties in the NDA have joined forces, hoping to weaken the opposition. Kushwaha, president of the National Lok Morcha (RLM), urged his allies to remain united. He emphasized the importance of avoiding the internal divisions that cost the NDA several seats in 2020.
Kushwaha’s warning has ignited political debate. He recalled the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, where his own loss in the Karakat seat, as an NDA candidate, further demoralized the alliance. With the Mahagathbandhan securing a win there, he pointed out how crucial it was to learn from such mistakes and ensure a unified front.
Looking ahead to 2025, Kushwaha stressed that the NDA must avoid repeating the past and focus on a united, strong alliance to succeed in the upcoming elections.
