Visakhapatnam: Andhra Pradesh IT Minister Nara Lokesh hailed the signing of the Google investment agreement as a historic moment for the state, marking its rise as a global technology hub. Speaking at the MoU event in New Delhi, Lokesh said Google’s entry into Visakhapatnam would firmly place Andhra Pradesh on the world tech map.
He described the partnership as a major milestone that will transform Visakhapatnam into a Digital Hub, boosting employment, innovation, and infrastructure. Lokesh credited the initiative to the visionary leadership of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and appreciated the central government’s support in making it possible.
“This is not just an investment—it’s the foundation for a digital revolution in Andhra Pradesh,” he said, expressing confidence that more global tech collaborations would soon follow, strengthening the state’s position in India’s digital economy.
