Andhra Pradesh Minister P. Narayana will visit the United Kingdom and Qatar to study best practices for the proposed Amaravati Sports City project. The visit aims to understand modern urban planning methods and world-class sports infrastructure.
Officials said the Minister will interact with experts involved in developing large sports complexes and integrated sports cities. The focus will be on planning models that combine sports facilities with housing, transport, and public spaces.
In the UK, the delegation will study well-planned sports hubs developed for international events. In Qatar, the Minister will examine advanced stadium designs and facilities built for global tournaments.
The government plans to adapt suitable global ideas to local needs in Andhra Pradesh. Officials believe the visit will help develop Amaravati as a modern sports and activity hub.
The Sports City project is expected to promote sports, attract investment, and create jobs in the State.
