Administrative at Your Doorstep Camp Held in Hunder Nubra brought essential governance closer to residents on Thursday. The initiative, part of the ongoing Mimang-si-rJabstogs programme, aimed to ensure that villagers receive fast, direct and transparent access to government services. Administrative at Your Doorstep reflects Ladakh’s growing focus on inclusive and citizen-friendly administration.
Tehsildar Diskit Tufail Iqbal chaired the outreach event, which attracted a strong public turnout in Hunder village. Heads of Departments from the Diskit Sub-Division joined the camp and explained various welfare schemes, beneficiary entitlements, and upcoming developmental projects. They listened to residents, resolved concerns and guided them on documentation and service eligibility.
Villagers used the opportunity to complete important procedural tasks. Officials facilitated PM-Kisan registrations, Kisan Credit Card services, Ladakh Greenhouse applications, ABHA Health IDs, Golden Cards, income and domicile certificates, pension cases under PMJAY, mutation entries, revenue extracts and electoral roll updates. Students, farmers, women and senior citizens benefited from on-the-spot support.
Residents appreciated the administration’s effort to bring multiple services under one roof, reducing travel time and procedural delays. Officers emphasised their commitment to continued village-level engagement, ensuring that welfare reaches every household.
The Mimang-si-rJabstogs initiative is expected to continue across Nubra, encouraging participatory governance, awareness and accessibility.
