Union Minister Kiren Rijiju launched the AI to monitor minority schemes app in Rajgir, Bihar. The AI to monitor minority schemes tool will track welfare projects in minority areas. He introduced the app during a national review meeting under the Pradhan Mantri Jan Vikas Karyakram (PMJVK).
The app helps officials track projects in education, health, and skill development. It uses satellite technology and geo-tagged photos. Officers can upload updates directly from project sites. The system shows real-time progress and flags delays quickly.
Officials can download the app from the Play Store. They can register with their mobile numbers and submit reports. The app also works in offline mode.
Rijiju said the tool will increase transparency and improve accountability. The ministry also introduced smart wrist bands and AI chatbots to support Haj pilgrims and provide scheme details.
