AIADMK MLAs plan to support Vijay’s party as internal differences within the party continue to grow in Tamil Nadu. Reports suggest that a group of legislators may move closer to actor-turned-politician Vijay’s party, creating fresh political tension in the state.
The situation became serious after several leaders in the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) openly disagreed over the leadership of the legislative party. A faction of MLAs is reportedly considering backing Vijay’s Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), which recently emerged as a new political force in the state.
Sources indicate that around 30 MLAs from a rival faction are exploring the possibility of supporting Vijay’s party if the internal dispute continues. This move could lead to a split within AIADMK and reshape the political balance in the state.
Political observers say the developments could significantly influence alliances and the future political landscape of Tamil Nadu.
