Union Home Minister Amit Shah has shed light on how Narendra Modi transformed from a state leader to India’s Prime Minister, describing it as a journey driven by dedication, strategic thinking, and unwavering commitment to the nation. Speaking at a public event in New Delhi on Sunday, Shah highlighted key moments that shaped Modi’s rise from Chief Minister of Gujarat to the country’s top office.
Shah recalled Modi’s early years as Gujarat Chief Minister, noting how his focus on development, good governance, and decisive leadership helped him gain national recognition. “Modi ji’s work in Gujarat became a model for the entire country. His policies on infrastructure, industry, and welfare programs created a roadmap for India’s growth,” Shah said.
According to Shah, Modi’s ability to connect with people and his tireless campaigning played a crucial role in the 2014 general election, when the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) secured a historic majority. “From the smallest village to the biggest city, he reached out to every citizen with a vision of a strong and self-reliant India,” Shah explained, adding that Modi’s leadership continues to inspire millions.
Shah credited Modi’s disciplined lifestyle and long-term vision for enabling him to transition seamlessly from a state leader to a global statesman. He emphasized that Modi’s journey reflects the power of hard work and commitment to public service, serving as an example for aspiring leaders across the country.
Political analysts view Shah’s remarks as an attempt to reinforce Modi’s image as a transformative leader ahead of upcoming elections, highlighting the BJP’s narrative of development and nationalism.
