Union Home Minister Amit Shah made strong remarks regarding the opposition parties ’ resistance to the bill that allows for the removal of Chief Ministers, Prime Ministers, and other ministers . He accused opposition leaders of attempting to run the government from jail , claiming that they want to turn imprisonment into the official residence of the CM or PM, issuing orders from behind bars .

Shah emphasized that the 130th Constitutional Amendment Bill will certainly receive approval despite opposition protests. He also highlighted that many leaders in Congress and other parties still uphold moral values and integrity, implying that the bill aligns with democratic principles.

The Home Minister’s comments come amid heated political debates over governance and accountability measures in India.
