Hyderabad: Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s visit to Telangana has been confirmed for October 6. He will participate in the Ganesh Chaturthi procession in Hyderabad, upon invitation from the Bhagyanagar Ganesh Utsav Committee . During the visit, Amit Shah is scheduled to address gatherings near Charminar and Mozamjahi Market.
Following the immersion ceremonies, he will meet Telangana BJP leaders at ITC Kakatiya . The city has already prepared for the festivities, with around 30% of Ganesh idols already immersed, and the remaining idols set for immersion on Tuesday . The main procession will proceed from Balapur to Hussain Sagar , with heavy police deployment along the route and several traffic restrictions in place.
Authorities have announced additional restrictions due to the Home Minister’s visit to ensure safety and prevent any untoward incidents. The Telangana Police are taking all necessary precautions to maintain law and order during the high-profile event, ensuring a smooth and secure celebration for devotees and participants alike.
