Bollywood legend Dharmendra was given an emotional farewell today as he was cremated at the Vile Parle crematorium in Mumbai. His elder son, Sunny Deol, performed the last rites. Several prominent film personalities arrived to pay their final respects, including Amitabh Bachchan, who grew emotional while bidding goodbye to his Sholay co-star.

Dharmendra, 89, had been admitted to Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital on November 1 and was discharged on November 12. He had been under home care since then. His passing has left the film industry and millions of fans in shock.
