Anant Singh New Duplex Sparks Questions About His Next Move

Anant Singh New Duplex government allotment in Patna

Anant Singh New Duplex has become a hot topic in Bihar politics. The news focuses on the Anant Singh New Duplex allotted to him by the state government. The Mokama MLA received a duplex flat on Veerchand Patel Path in Patna, numbered 8/11. His constituency name and number, 178, are now written beside it.

People now wonder whether he will shift from his old and spacious Mall Road bungalow. The new duplex is smaller, and this raises several questions.

Reports say the Building Construction Department allotted such duplexes to outgoing MLAs. The flat earlier belonged to National Legislative Council member Sunil Singh.

A major concern is the space for Anant Singh’s horses. His old bungalow has enough room for animals and vehicles. He is a horse lover, and his horses currently live there. The new duplex has limited space and cannot hold horses or his expensive vehicles.

The government-allotted house also has very little parking. When he became MLA in 2005, he received a bungalow on Mall Road. Compared to that, this duplex offers far less space, creating doubt about whether he will vacate his old residence.
