In Bihar, Anant Singh news has drawn attention after the former Mokama MLA was arrested in connection with the Dularchand Yadav murder case. He has been kept as a regular prisoner in Beur Jail. According to jail officials, Anant Singh news confirms he is not receiving any special facilities or attendants because he is not classified as a high-class prisoner.
Anant Singh and his two supporters, Manikant Thakur and Ranjit Ram, are staying in a special security ward. Sunday was their first night in jail. They had a regular jail meal and slept normally. Sources said Anant Singh underwent a medical check-up, and his health reports, including blood pressure and sugar, were normal.
No one has visited him so far, though the jail manual allows visits once a week. He was offered tea and a standard lunch as per routine. Interestingly, he has also been nominated as the JDU candidate from the Mokama constituency for the upcoming Bihar elections. Jail officials confirmed that he is being treated like any other regular prisoner without luxury or assistance.
