Prime Minister Narendra Modi hailed Andhra Pradesh as the first destination for Artificial Intelligence (AI) in India, highlighting the state’s growing technological prominence. Speaking at a public event, Modi commended Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu for his visionary leadership in attracting major global investments, including from tech giant Google, into the state’s AI and digital infrastructure sectors.
Modi said the upcoming AI Hub in Andhra Pradesh would include AI infrastructure, data centers, energy storage systems, and fiber optic networks, positioning the state at the forefront of the digital revolution. He added that Visakhapatnam is set to emerge as a global hub for AI and connectivity, providing advanced technological services to the world.
