Veteran actor Anupam Kher described his visit to the Tirupati Balaji temple as a “blissful experience.” He praised the glory of India’s pilgrimage sites during an Instagram post and media interaction. Anupam shared that he prayed for the well-being of all his fans and admired the extraordinary progress from Tirupati to Tirumala.
On the professional front, Anupam’s film “Tanvi The Great” has returned to theatres. The actor reflected on the importance of second chances, sharing that life gave him another opportunity in his career after almost being replaced by actor Sanjeev Kumar in Mahesh Bhatt’s film Saaransh. He described the struggle he faced to reclaim his role after six months of rehearsal.
The film features actors Jackie Shroff, Arvind Swami, Boman Irani, Pallavi Joshi, Karan Tacker, Nasser, Iain Glen, and Anupam Kher. Oscar-winning professionals M.M. Keeravani (music) and Resul Pookutty (sound) contributed to the film, while Japanese cinematographer Keiko Nakahara handled visuals.
“Tanvi The Great” tells the story of a 21-year-old woman on the autism spectrum, inspired by her late father, an Indian Army officer. Her dream of saluting the flag at Siachen Glacier drives the narrative, portraying courage, hope, and determination, themes central to the film’s message.
