Bhogapuram Airport to Reduce Migration from Srikakulam and Vizianagaram, Says MP
Vizianagaram Member of Parliament has said that the construction of Bhogapuram Airport will help reduce migration from Srikakulam and Vizianagaram districts to larger cities. Speaking to the media on Friday, the MP highlighted that the airport and other planned developmental activities would create local employment opportunities and boost economic growth in the region.
He noted that during recent Praja Darbars held across the Vizianagaram Assembly Constituency, he had received numerous petitions from young people seeking jobs. “Their dreams will become a reality very soon, as all developmental activities are set to take off in 2026 itself,” he said.
The MP emphasized that the airport, along with improved infrastructure and investment in industries, would generate employment in various sectors, including tourism, transport, and services. He expressed confidence that these initiatives would encourage the youth to stay in their hometowns and contribute to local development.
