Bhojpuri Stars Heat Up Bihar Elections

Bhojpuri artists are making a notable entry into Bihar’s electoral race this year. Superstar Khesari Lal Yadav is contesting from the Chhapra seat on a Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) ticket. Singer Ritesh Pandey is running from Kargahar under the Jan Suraj banner, while Jyoti Singh has also joined the fray.

Meanwhile, Pawan Singh, Manoj Tiwari, Ravi Kishan, and Nirahua are actively campaigning for BJP and NDA candidates. In Katihar, Pawan Singh responded to Khesari Lal’s remarks, saying, “He’s gone mad himself, so how can he make others mad? We work within our limits and avoid petty violence.”

A few days ago, Khesari Lal claimed he would drive all four Bhojpuri superstars crazy within four days. In retaliation, Pawan Singh highlighted BJP’s dual focus on religious rituals and development, saying both are essential responsibilities.

Khesari Lal also criticized Pawan Singh for campaigning against him in Chapra, despite Khesari supporting Pawan wholeheartedly during the Lok Sabha elections. Voting in Chapra’s assembly seat concluded in the first phase, with over 50 percent voter turnout, reflecting the intense competition in the region.
