Bihar teacher transfer challenges continue as the Education Minister said, “we can’t satisfy all” teachers after the recent reshuffle. While addressing the state legislative council, he explained that nearly 2.5 lakh teachers received new postings. Despite this, some teachers remain unhappy. He admitted that around 20 percent are not satisfied with their transfers.
The minister said the government handled transfers based on subject requirements and available vacancies. Because of this process, officials could not meet every personal request. He added that about 80 percent of teachers accepted their new postings without complaint.
He assured lawmakers that the department will review pending cases. Teachers with older pay scales will also get transfer opportunities in the next phase.
The minister also spoke about updates to the e-Shiksha Kosh portal to ensure accurate attendance records.
