Big Cricket League Season 2 to Begin on January 16, 2026

Big Cricket League returns on Jan 16, 2026. Season 2 promises more talent, global stars, and wider broadcast coverage for fans.

The Big Cricket League (BCL), the world’s first Pro-Am cricket league, will begin its second season on January 16, 2026.

League Commissioner Dilip Vengsarkar said the season will feature stronger talent and more international stars. He also noted that television and digital coverage will expand further, reaching millions of homes.

The inaugural edition proved that the Pro-Am format connects with fans. It also gave aspiring cricketers a rare chance to play with legends. According to Vengsarkar, the talent hunt for Season 2 will attract even brighter prospects, making the competition tougher and more entertaining.

Meanwhile, the nationwide talent hunt is already running in several cities. Young players are showcasing their skills to secure spots. Last season, over 60 amateurs were discovered through this program. Many shared the field with stars like Shikhar Dhawan and Suresh Raina, which inspired fans across India.

Season 1 concluded in December 2024 after 18 matches in Surat. Six franchises battled over 10 matchdays, and the Mumbai Marines, led by Irfan Pathan, emerged as champions.

In addition, BCL founder Rudra Pratap Singh, CEO Annirudh Chauhan, and Chief Patron Puneet Singh promised an even bigger spectacle. They said Season 2 will blend competition and entertainment, ensuring unforgettable moments for cricket lovers.
