BJP MLA Mithilesh Kumar from Sitamarhi began Navratri by distributing tridents, conches, and the holy book Durga Saptashati in puja pandals. The BJP MLA in Bihar distributed tridents to devotees as part of his yearly promise to honor Sanatan traditions.
He started the ceremony at the birthplace of Mother Janaki. Devotees were also honored with red scarves. The MLA said he would attend all worship sites during Navratri, just as he did last year.
At Punauradham, Durga Mata’s trident, conch, and scriptures were presented. Kumar stressed that he followed Sanatan practices even before entering politics. He urged people to return to their cultural roots to protect Sanatan Dharma.
Leaders from the BJP State Council and local bodies joined the event, showing unity and support. Navratri in Bihar continues with devotion, faith, and strong cultural pride.
