The BJP election committee met in Patna to decide candidates for the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections. BJP State President Dilip Jaiswal said the committee discussed the performance of current MLAs and feedback from district units. The party aims to field strong contenders in every constituency. The BJP Bihar election committee meeting also touched upon seat-sharing plans with NDA allies. The BJP, which contested 110 seats in 2020 and holds 80 MLAs now, plans to regain lost ground through stronger local candidates and strategic seat allocation.
