The Bihar circle officers strike has disrupted several land-related services across the state. Due to the protest by circle officers and revenue staff, important tasks like land mutation, measurement, and record corrections have stopped in many districts.
The Bihar circle officers strike has affected at least 22 districts. Offices where officers joined the strike have suspended services such as e-measurement, LPC issuance, and land record corrections. Many residents who planned to update land records or complete property work now face delays.
However, the strike has not completely stopped work everywhere. Some districts like Muzaffarpur and Samastipur continue to function because several circle officers did not join the protest. In districts such as Nalanda and Patna, only some offices operate while others remain closed.
Officials say the protest has created major inconvenience for farmers and landowners. Long-pending applications related to land disputes and ownership updates remain unresolved due to the strike.
The state government has urged striking officers to return to work soon so that public services can resume normally.
