The Bihar Congress ₹50 membership drive has started to strengthen the party’s grassroots network across the state. People can join the party by paying only ₹50 and the membership will remain valid for five years. Party leaders believe the Bihar Congress ₹50 membership drive will bring more supporters and reconnect the leadership with workers at the ground level.
The campaign is named “Srijan Saathi.” It was announced during a press conference at Sadaqat Ashram in Patna. State Congress president Rajesh Ram said the initiative aims to make joining the party simple and affordable for ordinary citizens.
Registration will take place through the BPCC mobile app. The app allows members to stay connected with party leadership and organizational updates. Only registered voters of Bihar can apply through this platform.
The drive also focuses on inclusive participation. The party plans representation for women, OBC, EBC, minorities, SC-ST communities, and persons with disabilities.
Party leaders hope the campaign will boost worker morale and strengthen the Congress network at the booth level before upcoming elections.
