Bihar Congress Review After Crushing Defeat District-Wise Assessment Begins

Bihar Congress crushing defeat review meeting

The Congress has started a district-wise review after the Bihar Congress crushing defeat in the 2025 Assembly elections. State president Rajesh Kumar wrote to all district presidents and asked them to study the results carefully. He said the Bihar Congress crushing defeat happened because the party could not meet the expected performance levels. He also said this review is important for honest evaluation and quick improvement.

District presidents will hold meetings in their areas and check voting percentages, booth-level work, campaign quality, local issues, and alliance conditions. They will send their reports to the state office for future planning. Rajesh Kumar said election results show where the party is weak and where it needs to become stronger. He called this a time for unity and better teamwork.

Earlier, the State Congress Disciplinary Committee expelled seven leaders for anti-party activities. The expelled leaders include Aditya Paswan, Shakeelur Rahman, Raj Kumar Sharma, Raj Kumar Rajan, Kundan Gupta, Kanchana Kumari, and Ravi Golden. These leaders accused Rajesh Ram and Krishna Allawaru of bribery in ticket distribution and demanded Rajesh Ram’s resignation at Sadakat Ashram.
