Tension is rising inside the Bihar Congress after many leaders received a Bihar Congress ticket fraud notice. They claim the notice is unfair and rushed. They also say the Bihar Congress ticket fraud notice ignores party rules and traditions.
The leaders question the formation of the disciplinary committee. They argue that only the party’s general secretary can create such a committee. They add that the state unit never had its own committee in the past. Because of this, they believe the entire action lacks a proper base.
They also ask why the notice allowed only five days for a reply when the party rulebook allows two full weeks. They want to know why an AICC member received a notice without a clear reason. The group says they will continue to protect the Bihar Congress and fight wrong decisions.
These leaders say that they only exposed mistakes in ticket distribution. They pointed out issues like deals for tickets and tickets given to people linked to the BJP. Senior leaders heard their concerns and told them to keep campaigning. The leaders followed the advice but still received notices later.
So far, 43 leaders have received notices, and many—including Anand Madhav and Chhatrapati Yadav—have already replied.
