Bihar Government Crackdown on Encroachment Tightens Rules for Officials

Bihar government crackdown on encroachment during Vijay Sinha’s review meeting

The Bihar government crackdown on encroachment has become strict after the formation of the new government. Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha reviewed all revenue and land-related works and warned officials to act quickly. He said the Bihar government crackdown on encroachment will hold not only the violators but also the responsible officers.

Sinha explained that encroachments grow when officials ignore their duties. Later, these illegal structures get removed through court orders, which troubles poor families. To stop this, he ordered joint responsibility among departments. He also asked for investigations against careless officers and said recovery actions will be taken when needed.

He directed the police and regional administration to work honestly to prevent new encroachments. Sinha also announced that land banks will be created in every district to protect government land. Special teams will verify complaints because many districts report rising cases.

The Deputy CM raised concern over delays in revenue courts. To reduce the backlog, more officers will be deployed temporarily. He said people should not visit offices repeatedly for basic work. He insisted that every case must be completed as per rules to ensure fairness for the public.
