The Bihar jhalmuri seller Vikram meets Narendra Modi story gained attention because Vikram actually belongs to Bihar. He comes from Manmadho village in Gaya district. His father, Uttam Sao, has sold jhalmuri in Kolkata for nearly 40 years, and Vikram learned the business from him while growing up.
About ten years ago, Vikram rented his own stall and continued the family business. His parents, wife, and children now live in Kolkata, while some relatives remain in the village. After the viral video, people in his hometown expressed pride and happiness over the moment.
