Bihar Labour Migration: Samrat Choudhary Reveals Plan to Stop Workers Leaving State

Bihar labour migration plan announced by Deputy CM Samrat Choudhary

Bihar labour migration could end in the next five years, according to Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary. He shared the government’s plan during a public meeting while speaking about development in the state.

Choudhary said the government wants to create more jobs within Bihar so workers do not need to move to other states for employment. He explained that officials are encouraging industries to invest in Bihar. The government has also prepared land for new factories and industrial projects. These steps aim to generate jobs for thousands of local workers.

He added that the administration will identify people who migrate to other states for work and help them find employment within Bihar. According to him, cities like Hajipur and Muzaffarpur are attracting investment and new industries.

The government believes stronger industry, infrastructure, and investment will gradually reduce Bihar labour migration and help workers earn a livelihood in their home state.
