The Bihar Land Survey will be completed across the state by December 2027, Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha announced in Patna. The government has made the Bihar Land Survey a top priority to update land records and reduce disputes among property owners.
Sinha said the special land survey and settlement work is progressing in several districts. Officials are closely monitoring the process to ensure the project finishes within the planned timeline. Once the survey ends, land records will become more accurate and transparent for the public.
The state government plans to review the progress regularly. A review meeting with district settlement officers will help assess the work and speed up the process wherever necessary.
Authorities believe the survey will reduce land disputes and simplify property-related procedures. Updated land records will also make buying and selling land easier for residents across Bihar.
