Bihar ministers take charge of their new departments as the fresh team in Nitish Kumar’s Government 10.0 begins work. On Saturday, several leaders reached their offices and started their duties. The process moved fast, and the Bihar ministers take charge moment became the main focus in Patna.
Panchayati Raj Minister Deepak Prakash, Rural Works Minister Ashok Choudhary, and IT and Sports Minister Shreyasi Singh were among the first to step into action. They met officials, reviewed ongoing projects, and shared their plans for the coming months.
Ashok Choudhary said he would work with full commitment to improve road connectivity. He explained that better rural roads help economic growth. He added that major roads will be widened, and year-round roads will be built. He also stressed that ongoing works must finish on time.
Deepak Prakash said Panchayati Raj institutions are important for both governance and development. He promised quick action to strengthen Gram Panchayats. He also told officers to avoid delays and improve transparency. He directed teams to speed up pending schemes so villages receive benefits sooner.
The ministers said they will work hard to match the Chief Minister’s vision and deliver development across Bihar.
