Bindu Gulab Yadav Withdraws Nomination from Babubarhi

Bindu Gulab Yadav withdraws nomination in Babubarhi Bihar

Bindu Gulab Yadav withdraws nomination from the Babubarhi assembly seat in Bihar’s Madhubani district. She was a candidate from the Vikassheel Insaan Party (VIP), led by Mukesh Sahni. Her decision came after Mukesh Sahni was announced as the Grand Alliance’s deputy chief ministerial candidate. This move has brought relief to the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD).

Earlier, both RJD’s Arun Kumar Singh and Bindu Gulab Yadav had filed nominations, leading to a friendly contest within the Grand Alliance. With her withdrawal, the main contest will now be between RJD’s Arun Kumar Singh and Janata Dal United’s (JDU) Meena Kumari.

Bindu is the daughter of former RJD MLA Gulab Yadav and currently chairs the Madhubani District Council. Her withdrawal also reflects unity efforts within the Grand Alliance. During a press meet in Patna, Congress named Tejashwi Yadav as the alliance’s CM face and Mukesh Sahni as deputy CM. Sahni said this decision ends his long wait and aims to strengthen the alliance against the BJP.
