The political excitement has reached new heights as major parties gear up for the Bihar Elections 2025. The BJP released its second list of candidates, featuring popular singer Maithili Thakur from Alinagar. The JDU, led by Nitish Kumar, announced 57 candidates in its first list, while Jitan Ram Manjhi’s HAM party revealed six names.
However, all is not calm within the NDA. Upendra Kushwaha expressed strong dissatisfaction over seat-sharing, warning that internal issues are weakening the alliance. Senior BJP leaders Samrat Chaudhary, Nityanand Rai, and Nitin Naveen even met Kushwaha in Patna to ease tensions.
On the Grand Alliance side, RJD and Congress continue to disagree on seat distribution. Congress is demanding 65 seats, but RJD is ready to offer only 55. Meanwhile, actor Khesari Lal Yadav announced he is persuading his wife to contest the elections, or else he will campaign for Tejashwi Yadav.
With multiple power centers and rising disputes, Bihar Elections 2025 promise to be an intense battle where alliances and public sentiment will decide the state’s future.
