BJP is world’s largest political party with 14 crore members, said National President J.P. Nadda at a rally in Visakhapatnam on Sunday. Out of these, nearly two crore are active members. Nadda emphasized that the BJP’s growth makes it the strongest political force globally. BJP is world’s largest political party with 14 crore members, he repeated, calling it a sign of the party’s reach and acceptance.
He said the BJP currently has 240 Lok Sabha MPs, around 1,500 MLAs, and more than 170 MLCs across India. The party leads governments in 13 states and supports the NDA in 20 states. Nadda credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership for delivering a “responsible and responsive” government.
Highlighting the last 11 years under Modi, he said politics of performance replaced earlier politics of non-performance. He added that the current government has focused on development, accountability, and fulfilling manifesto promises.
Nadda contrasted this with past regimes, which he said were dominated by corruption, family politics, and appeasement. He described the BJP as a party with a clear ideological base, rooted in service and accountability.
