BJP Prepares Candidate Strategy Ahead of NDA Seat Sharing in Bihar

BJP leaders meeting to plan candidate strategy before NDA seat sharing in Bihar

Union Home Minister Amit Shah led a crucial BJP core committee meeting in Delhi on Wednesday. The main focus was the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections. BJP decided to finalize candidate strategy before NDA seat sharing.

The party will prepare a list of names for each constituency. A new committee will soon manage campaigning and draft the manifesto. Bihar BJP chief Dr. Dileep Jaiswal said senior leaders from other states will handle seven seats each. They will oversee campaigns and track local strategies.

Candidate shortlisting will begin immediately. This will help BJP announce nominees quickly after NDA finalizes seat sharing. Amit Shah asked leaders to work with allies and boost outreach. He stressed highlighting the development work of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Chief Ministers Samrat Choudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha. Union Ministers Giriraj Singh and Nityanand Rai also joined. Dr. Jaiswal clarified that NDA seat-sharing talks will be managed by central leadership.

This early push shows BJP’s plan to strengthen its position in Bihar and keep its alliance strong.
