The Rahul Gandhi AI Summit comment sparked a strong response from the BJP on Wednesday. The party said those without proper knowledge should avoid posting “ready-made” opinions on social media about artificial intelligence.
BJP spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia accused Gandhi of attempting to tarnish India’s global image. Earlier, Gandhi had called the AI Summit a “disorganised PR spectacle” and claimed Chinese products were being displayed there.
Bhatia said, “When it comes to artificial intelligence, anyone lacking intelligence should not post ready-made tweets.” He added that India’s leadership in AI and technology is being recognised internationally under Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The BJP stressed that hosting global leaders at the summit is a matter of national pride. Bhatia claimed that Congress often tries to damage India’s reputation instead of appreciating its achievements.
The Rahul Gandhi AI Summit exchange highlights the importance of informed commentary on India’s emerging role in artificial intelligence and global technology events. Political debates over such initiatives continue to dominate public discourse.
