The BRABU VC House Bombing created panic in Muzaffarpur late Sunday night. Two unidentified youths threw a crude bomb near the residence of the Vice-Chancellor at Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Bihar University. The BRABU VC House Bombing happened close to the university police station. The loud blast alarmed nearby residents and staff.
Police said the attackers arrived on a scooter at around 10 pm. They threw a sutli bomb near the main gate and quickly fled the area. No one suffered injuries in the blast.
CCTV cameras near the site captured the suspects. Police teams are now checking the footage to identify them. Officers have also started a search in nearby areas.
University officials said someone also issued a murder threat to the Vice-Chancellor. The threat increased concern among the university administration.
A forensic team reached the site and collected evidence from the spot. Police continue the investigation and hope to arrest the suspects soon.
